Job Summary
Culture Kids is looking for a Community Manager who lives and breathes sports, specifically football and tennis. You'll own the day to day social presence of the sports brands and accounts we work with: you come up with the ideas, shoot and edit them yourself, and keep the community talking. You'll work across planned content calendars and reactive moments, from matchdays and transfer deadline day to Grand Slam finals and late night five setters. You know the players, the storylines and the inside jokes of both sports, and you know how to turn them into content that feels like it was made by a fan, not a brand.
You work closely with our designers, account managers and the brands themselves, and you're expected to run your accounts with a high level of autonomy.
What you'll be doing
- Create iPhone content that sticks: TikToks, Reels, memes, trend reactive content and offline tie-ins across football and tennis
- Come up with killer concepts that you can execute on as well
- Own the sports calendar: matchdays, transfer windows, the Champions League, the Grand Slams, the ATP and WTA tour and the Belgian moments in between
- Be fast when it counts: react to results, upsets, transfers and viral moments while they're still happening
- Find the signal in the noise: know when a sports trend matters and when to let it pass
- Write like a human: captions, hooks, scripts and replies that sound like they come from someone in the stands
- Edit on the fly: CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or even just your phone
- Manage communities: comment sections, broadcast channels, DMs, reposts and interactions with athletes and clubs
- Work directly with brands: build out monthly social calendars, conceptualization & execution
- Bridge digital and real life: capture content at matches, tournaments and events, and shape stories that connect online and IRL
